Product Introduction

Instruction Manual

1
  • Worm up the hammer before state work.
  • Check the following instructions
    • - The oil comes out from the bottom of the bit while lifted hammer and providing air?
    • - Hammer works well when you put it on the floor and providing air?
2
  • The temperature could affects the hammer condition, so increase the air pressure gradually
    • - 60% → 80% → 100%
3
  • Provide the enough lubricating oil inside of hammer for cooling and prevention of sticking
    • - Recommendation oils: ARIES 46/100(GS Clatex), ROCK DRILL 46/100(S-OIL)
    • - In summer season: ARIES 100, ROCK DRILL 100
    • - In winter season : ARIES 46, ROCK DRILL 46
    • - Do not use water
4
  • If you stop more than 30 minute during working, lift the hammer to near the surface.
    • - If you stop providing air when hammer in under the ground, slime and sludge could go through inside of hammer
5
  • Check the internal pressure of the hammer frequently during work.
    • - The hammer perform the best performance between 13㎏/㎠ ~ 18㎏/㎠ of internal pressure.
6
  • Check the RPM of equipment
    • - The optimal rpm for Soft ground 9~12rpm and for Solid ground 5~7rpm
7
  • When the drilling speed decreases, slightly lift the hammer for discharge the slime, sludge and continue to work
    • - If you lift the hammer, the air pressure directly go through the bottom of bit.
8
  • If you reach the special stratum, operator chooses the optimal rpm.
9
  • If the unusual noise occur or drilling speed is decreases, lift the hammer and check the condition of hammer and bit.
    • - Check the hammer assembly parts became loose.
    • - Check the condition of button tips and bits has damaged
10
  • When you finish drilling, clean the inside of hammer and rub with oil for protect the corrosion

Emergency Treatment

Cannot discharge the sludge well
  • 1. Not enough air pressure and amount of air
  • 2.Unsuitable hammer plug
  • 3. Bit air holes are blocked or foreign objects inside the hammer.
  • 4. Abrasion of sleeve
  • 1. Increase the pressure and air amount of the compressor
  • 2. Change the suitable hammer plug
  • 3. Disassemble the hammer and clean it
  • 4. Change the sleeve
Hammer works erratic
  • 1. Bit air holes are blocked or foreign objects inside the hammer.
